After graduating in direct marketing, Nick Decrock (°1973) founded NOCUS in 1997, a creative agency in Belgium which he led for more than 13 years. Working for clients like Henkel, GlaxoSmithKline, InterContinental Hotels Group and Bayer. Being active in the creative scene he started CreativeClass in 2007, a networking platform to promote creative entrepreneurship in the Euregion. With events like Pecha Kucha, TEDx Eutropolis, Manic Mondays and many inspiring workshops, the organisation wants to spark the creative economy in the region. In 2010 he also founded Yento!, a digital data marketing platform together with Dirk Milbou and WDM Belgium (part of Bisnode International). Currently he is mainly focussing on KAAI.16 in Hasselt, an old factory building (3000m2) which he renovated in 2008 into a creative hub for entrepreneurial minds. By 2014 the building should expand with another 9000m2, including a meeting & conference center.
Next to his daily acitvities, Nick is a public speaker in different domains like entrepreneurship, innovation, creativity, social and mobile media.
